Hillary Rodham was born in Chicago (Illinois) on October 26, 1947. She was raised in the protestant-methodist family together with two little brothers Hugh and Anthony. Hillary's father managed a small business in the textile industry, and mother was a homemaker.

At the age of 22 Hillary Rodham attained the bachelor's degree at Wellesley College, and entered the prestigious Yale Law School.

In the university Rodham met her future husband Bill Clinton who will become the 42th President of the USA later. They got married in 1975. It is noteworthy that, two years earlier, in 1973, Hillary managed to obtain the doctoral degree in law.

In 1979 Bill Clinton became the Governor of Arkansas, and Hillary, accordingly, the First Lady of the state. In 1980 a couple had a daughter, Chelsea.

Hillary Clinton spent most of her life in the shadow of her husband's illustrious political career. She was unknown to the general public before the sexual scandal, related to her husband and Monica Lewinsky, in 1998. At that tine the whole world followed Mrs Clinton's honourable conduct in such unpleasant situation. Hillary supported her husband, claimed that this scandal is a part of a plot against the president. Later, Bill Clinton accepted that he really had relations with Lewinsky. The House of Representatives tried to initiate an impeachment.

After the completion of the second presidential term of her husband, Hillary Clinton, also making a political career, became the senator of New York. This post opened new Clinton to the world - decisive and strong-willed.

Already in 2008, Clinton became the possible U.S. presidential candidate from the Democratic Party. With the support of Bill Clinton and investments in the informational campaign, amounting to over 5.3 million dollars (at the course of that time), Hillary took a worthy positions in the ratings and polls of the voters. However, on the basis of a series of primaries, she had to abandon the inner-party struggle and claimed about her support of Barack Obama, who became the president of the USA at the end. However, she received an important post of secretary of state in his office.

Today, Hillary Clinton is one of two main U.S. presidential candidates. Whether she will be able to become the first woman-president of the USA, the world will know after November 8, 2016. This is the day of the 58th voting for the political leader of America.
