On Monday, May 15, the meeting of Angela Merkel and Emmanuel Macron took place in Germany. The visit to London is the first trip abroad of the new Head of France after the inauguration.
According to the data of Associated Press, Merkel and Macron discussed the potential reform of the European Union aimed at its strengthening. As Merkel said, at first, they had to define what they wanted to change and if it turned out that it needed to change the documents, they were ready to do it. Without making the necessary changes the EU “will be vulnerable", she added.
